Iyengar yoga emphasises precision of movement, alignment and balance. Sequences are designed to focus on specific areas while supporting the organic body by strengthening the immune system, quieting the mind and enhancing the benefits of the breath. Practice of Iyengar yoga brings strength to the muscular skeletal body as well as mental clarity.
Classes are available at a general level and a more experienced student level. Support through physical props or pose variation is provided if you are working with an illness, restraint or injury.
